Mint Simple Syrup

Easy 3 ingredient mint simple syrup to use in coffee drinks, summer beverages, cocktails and more!
Servings: 2 cups

Equipment

  • 1 medium pot
  • 1 strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves approximately 30-35 leaves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pot, add the mint leaves.
  • Pour in the water and sugar.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce to a simmer and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool completely before removing the mint leaves with a strainer.
  • Poyur the mint syrup into a ja with an airtight lid, then refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
