Mint Simple Syrup
Easy 3 ingredient mint simple syrup to use in coffee drinks, summer beverages, cocktails and more!
Servings: 2 cups
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves approximately 30-35 leaves
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
In a medium sized pot, add the mint leaves.
Pour in the water and sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce to a simmer and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool completely before removing the mint leaves with a strainer.
Poyur the mint syrup into a ja with an airtight lid, then refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
