- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- ½ cup water
- 2 cups fresh blueberries 1 dry pint
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
MIx sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan. Stir in the water until the mixture is smooth.
Add the blueberries and cook over medium heat until the sauce is thickned and clear. This will take about 3-5 minutes.
Remove the sauce off the heat and add the lemon juice. Let cool slightly before adding to a jar and storing in the refrigerator.
