  • 1 medium sauce pan

Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries 1 dry pint
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • MIx sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan. Stir in the water until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the blueberries and cook over medium heat until the sauce is thickned and clear. This will take about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove the sauce off the heat and add the lemon juice. Let cool slightly before adding to a jar and storing in the refrigerator.
